Today, FIA uses Internet advertising to display official child abduction alerts and tornado warnings across devices throughout the United States to those in the alerting area. FIA can extend its online distribution of life-critical alerts to help authorities reach people in the alerting area through improved availability and use of Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) for imminent threat alerts all over the world.
FIA ALERT HUB
FIA has a working "Alert Hub" on the Amazon Cloud. This free public service is always on, taking in and distributing Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) alerts issued by alerting authorities anywhere in the world. We have developed some filters that can make the Alert Hub easier to use, such as providing a specific feed for "high priority" alerts, and are working to develop additional filters in the near future.
